  Class: Audience and Industry blog tasks Audience 1) What were the viewing figures for Class and why do you think it did so badly? The viewing figures for Class started from over a million but then the last episode only had 0.28 million. I think it did so badly because most people didn't like the spin-off of Doctor Who since it was targeted towards much maturer audiences and wasn't as interesting as the original Doctor Who. Class is a spin off from doctor who but didnt really have any episodes linking to doctor who,he only comes in episode 1. 2) What audience psychographic groups might particularly enjoy Class? OMO advert

1) What year was the advert produced? The advert was produced in 1955 2) How were women represented in most adverts in the 1950s? They were represented as housewife's. 3) How does the heading  message ('OMO makes whites bright') and typography promote the product? It promotes the product as it's the best cleaning product and that millions of women use the product. 4) Analyse the mise-en-scene in the advert (CLAMPS): how is costume, make-up and placement of the model used to suggest women's role in society?
